Tarneit is not just growing – it is exploding. The Tarneit electoral district, is one of the fastest-growing areas in Australia. New estates are being approved, built, and populated at a pace that has left roads, schools, health services, and public transport struggling to keep up. The Wyndham City Council area, which covers much of this district, reached a population of over 292,000 at the 2021 census and it has only grown since.

Tarneit is a suburb of young, ambitious, and culturally diverse families.
