Work local. Live better.
We shouldn’t have to leave the West to make a living. Governments need to prioritise commercial investment in the West so we can live and work here. And if we do need to leave the West for work, it’s important the travel involved is safe, reliable and convenient.
Our priorities for the West:
- Support employment opportunities in the West ensuring that over 50% of residents of the West no longer have to have to leave their suburbs every day for work.
- Create employment hubs at Sunshine, East Werribee and Cobblebank.
- Increase incentives for companies to move white collar jobs to the West – It’s cheaper to move jobs to the people than spend billions moving people to jobs.
